Deconstruction
Deconstruction is the systematic disassembly of a structure to its base building components. These components have significantly higher value in their present form than if they were collected after demolition activities. SWS has been involved in many deconstruction projects where building materials were harvested resulting in significant cost savings and diversion from landfill at rates exceeding 90%. In some instances, materials were salvaged that are not manufactured anymore and cannot even be replicated today.
